Steve is fluent in digital storytelling, cinematography, lighting, time-lapse, video interviews, aerial cinematography, audio capture and production. Steve specializes in collaboration and helping to create films with an authentic and high-end cinematic quality.

Steve is dedicated to giving time back by teaching in the field that has brought him so much satisfaction. Embracing the convergence brought about by the digital revolution, Smith mentors students in the incorporation of cinematic principles into multimedia visual storytelling; his work recently won Best in Show in the S.T.E.A.M. category of the New Media Film Festival in Los Angeles.

Steven G. Smith is a professional photographer based out of Connecticut and Colorado. Steve's work leans towards a reportage style; he is equally comfortable working on location as he is in the studio. He enjoys photographing people in creative and unique ways. He believes in the value of authentic real-life moments.
